Three arrested for land fraud

KHAIRPUR, April 9: Three accused were arrested after the Assistant Mukhtiarkar, Khairpur, Anwar Ali Panhwar, lodged an FIR with the A-section police against 15 persons here on Monday for a fraud in the allotment of over 130 acres of land.

Mr Panhwar has alleged that the accused, including a builder from Larkana, Gahno Khan Jatoi, and a Tapedar, Muneer Alam Solangi, have fraudulently allotted more than 130 acres of land belonging to Samang and Katohar tribesmen through a false sale deed.

He alleged that the accused were involved in preparing forged documents of the agricultural land in Dehs Gujjo and Luqman of Khairpur Taluka and got the same registered with their names.

The police have arrested three of the accused namely Qalandar Bux, Shafi Mohammad and Gulab Maitlo.
