SUKKUR: Rain damages wheat crop

SUKKUR, April 7: Rains and hailstorm damaged wheat crops in Ghotki and Khairpur districts on Saturday.

Reports from Ghotki said the rain and hailstorm began at 6am on Saturday and continued with intervals. The weather after the rain became pleasant but wheat crop was damaged.

Report from Khairpur said heavy rains lashed Thari Mirwah and Kot Diji and destroyed wheat crops. Sukkur City also received light rain.
