Measles cases on the rise

THATTA, April 5: The outbreak of measles in some parts of coastal belt of Thatta district for the last 15 days has shocked the villagers living in far flung areas.

The villages, where 40 children were infected with the disease, included UC Gul Baran, village Kar Malak, Deh Murid Khoso, Deh Dohar, Hetma Kothi and UC Begnah.

The villagers complained that the health department officials did not do any thing to help them.
