ISLAMABAD, April 4: The government on Thursday announced exemption of 256 life-saving drugs from 15 per cent general sales tax. Meanwhile, the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench also issued notices to the ministries of health, finance and the Central Board of Revenue to submit replies within 15 days on a constitutional petition challenging the imposition of 15 per cent GST on medicines.
