Reinstatement demanded

NAWABSHAH, April 2: The founder of the All Pakistan Clerk Association, Hidayat Yar Bukhari, has said Gen Musharaf’s government has done injustice to the 2.2 million clerks of the country.

He said this while talking to newsmen at the press club here on Tuesday.

He said that unemployment had increased, promotions were withheld and the government was getting ready to abolish the pensions.

Mr Bukhari said that the right of appeal had been taken by issuing the ordinance of 2001.

He demanded immediate reinstatement of the sacked workers of the Habib Sugar mills.—Correspondent
