Medical board confirms torture
SAHIWAL, March 27: A medical board on Wednesday examined the deranged person who killed a Chichawatni city police constable and injured the ASI.
According to details, deranged Zulfiqar killed constable Naveed Asad with a fodder cutter and injured ASI Raja Zafar outside the police station on March 24. The authorities at the Central Jail refused to detain the culprit due to scars on his body.
On Wednesday, the medical board confirmed bruises of violence on him.
The Judicial Magistrate, Section 30, Chichawatni, ordered his remand till April 7 and directed the officials to keep him in the Central Jail.
