Police said unknown men entered Shafi Mohammed’s home in Shah Rasool Colony, a shanty town in Clifton, and stabbed Shafi, aged 60, and his grandson Zaheer Abbas, aged 19, to death.

When their relation Allah Bakhsh came to the house in the morning he found the two men dead. He informed police which sent the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem.

Police believed the killings were an outcome of personal enmity or family feud as there were no signs of robbery at the house. The dead men hailed from Bhakkar, Punjab.

A man stabbed his wife to death for infidelity in his Essa Nagri home and surrendered himself to police.

Police said Sharif Masih, aged 35, often had arguments with his wife, Naheed, aged 28, and he accused her of having illicit relations with another man.

Sharif told police in the morning he saw his wife in intimate position with another man, which provoked him, and he stabbed his wife with a kitchen knife. Naheed, mother of four, died on the spot.

Sharif, with the knife, went to PIB Colony police station and surrendered himself to police. He confessed to killing his wife. Police sent the body to a hospital for autopsy.

In Kalakot, a young man stabbed his neighbour to death. Police arrested the suspect.

Police said Mohammed Saleem, aged 35, an Afghan national and fruit vendor, lived in a shanty town in Kalakot. Juma Gul, aged 17, also an Afghan national and fruit vendor, was his neighbour.

The two men had a quarrel over some matter on late Saturday night.

Saleem attacked Juma Khan with a knife in the leg. Juma pushed Saleem away, pulled out the knife out of his leg, and with the knife stabbed Saleem. He died on the spot, police said.

The body was sent to a hospital for autopsy. Juma was arrested.
