KARACHI: 963 growers to get plots in new Sabzimandi

KARACHI, March 13: A meeting of the Standing Committee on New Sabzimandi was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Secretary Mohammad Javed Ashraf here on Wednesday.

The meeting approved the recommendations of the Ministerial Committee for grant of plots to the 963 growers out of about 1,663 who had applied for allotment of plots in New Sabzimandi before and after the cut-off date — June 18, 1995, and who possessed a minimum of 5 acres in Karachi and 12 acres in the interior of Sindh and elsewhere.

The allotment will be made on receipt of all dues, including utility charges, in the office of the market committee in advance.—PPI
