KARACHI: HSC exam results

KARACHI, March 11: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Monday announced the results of HSC Humanities (private) supplementary examinations-2001, with a pass percentage of 33.85.

According to a notification, 3,059 candidates were registered for the examinations, while 2,931, including 1,577 females, appeared in the examinations. In all 992 candidates, including 580 females, were declared pass.

None of the candidates could get A-1 or A-grade, while only threecandidates, including two females, were placed in B-grade. The pass percentage of male and females candidates remained 30.43 and 36.78 respectively, while results of 16 candidates were withheld for using unfair means in the exams.

The breakdown of candidates who passed the examinations is: B-grade 3; C 87; D 703, and E-grade 199.
