Peshawar beat NWFP

KARACHI, March 10: Peshawar defeated Rest of NWFP by seven wickets at Arbab Niaz Stadium (Peshawar) in the only Pool ‘D’ encounter that saw action Sunday.

The other two matches, scheduled for Rawalpindi, were abandoned without a ball being bowled. KRL and ADBP shared points as did Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
