SHIKARPUR, March 1: Pakistan Muslim League (QA) leaders have urged political parties and people of the country not to waste energies and time by resorting to politics of agitation and instead extend cooperation to the government so that outstanding problems can be solved.

This was said at a PML-QA public meeting held here on Wednesday.

The president of the party, Mian Mohammad Azhar, secretary general, Gohar Ayub Khan, senior vice president, Aijaz-ul-Haq, Abdul Majeed Malik, Fakhar Imam, Humayoon Akhtar, Liaquat Jatoi, chief organizer, Sindh, Maqbool Ahmed Shaikh, provincial president, Ghous Bux Mehar, and others spoke at the meeting.

They said that the people wanted to get their problems solved instead of facing some untoward situation.

They claimed that the PML (QA) was the only party which could take the country out of the prevailing political and economic crisis.

They called upon the political parties and individuals to play a constructive role for restoration of democracy and economic stability.

The PML (QA) leaders alleged that the Pakistan People’s Party had lost the people’s trust as it had done nothing for their well being.

They predicted their party would emerge victorious in coming general elections with the support of the masses and would form next government.

They expressed their determination to upgrade the socio- economic condition of the people and to bring a developmental revolution in the country.

Responding to the complaints against Punjab, they insisted that Punjab had never committed any injustice against the province of Sindh in any respect.

They assured of redressing Sindh’s problems including water shortage after coming into power.

They said that it was the need of hour to shun petty differences and struggle jointly for the integrity of the country.
