Two killed, 26 injured as bus overturns

SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 22: Two passengers were killed while 26 others were injured, four of them seriously, when a bus overturned near Faisalabad bypass, some 3km away from here, on Friday.

A bus was on its way to Lahore from Nankana Sahib when the driver lost control over the steering and it overturned. Two persons, including Nasim Bibi, died on the spot while 26 others sustained injuries. Four of the injured were shifted to Lahore due to their critical condition.

SHOT DEAD: A woman was shot dead allegedly by her husband over a petty dispute in Khund Purian locality here on Friday.

Faiza Bibi demanded some money from her husband, Imran, for Eid shopping, but he became infuriated and shot her dead.
