KARACHI, Feb 22: The Sindh local government department has constituted a three-member committee for transfer of Rs350 million lying in the account of the defunct union council Darsano Chhano, known for its highest revenue in Pakistan.

The committee, headed by Muhammad Siddique Jeelani, has been assigned the task of devising a formula for the distribution of this amount among the three newly created union councils- Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Ghaghar and Gadap of Bin Qasim Town.

The vehicles, office furniture and other assets of the defunct UC will also be distributed among the new UCs. — PPI
