KARACHI, Feb 22: President Pervez Musharraf is expected to announce a package for uplift and welfare of women on the occasion of the International Women Day’s on March 8.
The federal government is currently finalizing the package and has obtained proposals from the provincial governments and concerned organizations, official sources said.
The government is focusing more on encouraging women in every walk of life.—PPI
