Pre-Haj operation

ISLAMABAD, Feb 15: The pre-Haj operation that started on Jan 16 to ferry more than 113,000 pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia will complete on Saturday.

Two Haj flights are scheduled to leave Islamabad and Quetta for Jeddah on Friday and three flights will leave from Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar on Saturday, official sources said here on Friday.

During the one month pre-Haj operation, 90 per cent pilgrims were to be flown by Pakistan International Airlines, while 10 per cent by Saudi Airline.—app
