HYDERABAD: Vocalist demands recovery of son

HYDERABAD, Feb 10: A vocalist of Shahdadkot, Faqir Imdad Hussain Haideri, who has been on hunger strike with his family members for the last several days, has appealed to the authorities concerned to recover his minor son Irfan Ali.

The vocalist said that he had left his home along with his eight children due to fear of his tormentors.

He said that he was the bard of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai and Sachal Sarmast but his life had been made miserable by the tyrants who had kidnapped his six-year-old son.

WATCHMEN: The hunger strike by the food grain godown employees entered the fifth day here on Sunday.

They are demanding that their salaries should be increased from Rs920 per month to Rs1870, the services of the employees who had served for five or more years should be regularized, illegal deductions from their salaries should be stopped and they should be given uniforms.
