Blair heckled while defending US bombing

LONDON, Feb 6: British Prime Minister Tony Blair was heckled on Tuesday when he defended Britain’s support for the US bombing of Afghanistan to an audience of 1,500 youngsters.

Blair told the young crowd at Westminster’s Methodist Church that the people of Afghanistan regarded British and US military intervention as a liberation.
