HYDERABAD, Jan 18: The DIG police, Hyderabad Range, Abdul Rauf Yousafzai, has awarded punishments/promotions to police personnel of Hyderabad range in a darbar held in his office.

The constables, Ramzan and Asim Baig, of the B-Section police station, Hyderabad district, were retired from the service on the charge of negligence in picket duty, resulting in the robbery of a motorcycle.

A constable of Dadu police, Gul Mohammad, was retired and another constable, Mohammad Bux, was awarded punishment by stopping his three-year increment, as both were involved in objectionable activities during night duty.

The appeals and petitions of Mohammad Khan, head constable, Dadu, Rabdino, constable, Hyderabad, Khan Mohammad, constable, Hyderabad, Rano Khan, constable, Dadu, Imam Bux, constable, Thatta, Ghulam Mohammad, constable, Dadu and Mohammad Hassan, constable, Badin, were rejected and the punishments awarded to them by their respective DPOs were upheld.

During the review of the punishments awarded by the DPOs to constable Ghulam Hyder, Dadu, constable Mohammad Saleh, Hyderabad, constable Mohammad Yaqoob, Dadu, constable Haider Bux, Hyderabad, constable Umer Daraz, Hyderabad, constable Mohammad Yasin, Dadu, and constable Mohammad Siddique, Hyderabad, the punishments were reduced on the basis of their fair previous record.

ASI Mohammad Ibrahim Shahani and ASI Haji Sikandar Ali Thebo of Dadu district were promoted as sub-inspectors on seniority basis.
