PESHAWAR, Jan 11: The Juvenile Justice Network, NWFP, has voiced concern over the shifting of juvenile prisoners to the TB Ward from the Adolescent Training Centre (ATC) in Haripur Central Jail as the ATC was evacuated to adjust the new arrivals of Pakistani Taliban there.

In a press release issued here on Friday, network coordinator Mahmood said the ATC was the only special ward for the prisoners throughout the province and the largest number of the juvenile convicts were sent there.

He said different government and non-government agencies were working in the ATC to create favourable environment for the juvenile prisoners.
