KARACHI, Jan 8: As many as 20 wickets fell on the opening day of the Quaid Trophy tie between Peshawar and Rest of NWFP at Arbab Niaz Stadium Tuesday.

According to details available from Peshawar, NWFP were bowled out for 92 after being asked to bat first by Peshawar captain Arshad Khan. Test pacers Fazle Akbar claimed five for 31 and Kabir Khan three for 19.

NWFP hit back to concede just a lead of seven runs as Peshawar tumbled to 99 all out with medium-pacer Shakeel-ur-Rehman taking six for 44 and skipper Sajid Shah three for 30.
