KARACHI, Dec 26: At least 20 vehicles- 13 cars and 7 motorcycles were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city during the last 48 hours, police said.
A Radio Cab of Metro Service (ACW-034) was taken away by unknown armed men while it was returning from Mangopir after dropping a passenger.
The other cars (ADB-609) and (ADH-899) Bahadurabad, (N-4081) Korangi Industrial Area, (Z-6386) Taimuria, (ACP-620) Aziz Bhatti, and (ACV-614) North Nazimabad, (ADE-939) Gizri, (GA-2198) Saddar were hijacked, while (ACS-002) Defence, (ADN-203) Napier, (GS-0035) New Town and (BC-4284) Landhi were stolen by bandits.
The motorcycles were hijacked in Buffer Zone, North Nazimabad, Civil Lines, Samnabad, Kharadar and Gulshan.
