12 injured in wagon-tanker collision

MIANWALI, Dec 22: Twelve persons sustained injuries, six of them critical, on Saturday in an accident on the Mianwali-Bannu Road near Paikhel railway station.

A speeding wagon (MI-586) heading for Mianwali crashed into an oil-tanker (DN-3065) coming from the opposite side. A dozen passengers, including the wagon driver, received injuries. They were shifted to the local DHQ Hospital where the condition of Ghulam Shabbir, Muhammad Aslam, Isabghul Khan, Wali Muhammad, Faridullah and Musarrat Bibi was stated to be serious. Drivers of both the vehicles were said to be relatives.
