KARACHI: Cold wave to persist

KARACHI, Dec 21: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast dry and cold weather on Saturday for Karachi and all other divisions of the province.

The daily regional weather report for Sindh and Balochistan issued by the department on Friday mentioned dry continental air to have prevailed all over the region during the day with temperatures to have fallen by 2-3 degree Celsius at a few places in Sindh.

Night temperature has fallen by 5 degrees Celsius at isolated places in upper Sindh, southwest Balochistan and risen by 3 degrees Celsius at an isolated place in northeast Balochistan and also at an isolated place on the Mekran coast.

It, however, remained unchanged elsewhere in the region. —APP
