Bid to smuggle tea foiled
LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 16: The Serai Naurang police on Saturday foiled an attempt to smuggle a huge quantity of export-quality tea leaves and arrested two smugglers.
On a tip-off, the police intercepted a truck (1522-QAJ) on a road, leading to Punjab, and found in the vehicle 200 sacks (each containing 65kg) of tea leaves worth Rs2.50 million.
