LAHORE, Dec 9: Former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab chief minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif have expressed their grief over the demise of former attorney-general Chaudhry Muhammad Farooq.

In a joint condolence message issued by their spokesman Farrukh Shah, they paid tributes to the services of the late for the implementation of law and provision of justice to the masses.

They said the late had also played an important role in popularizing the Muslim League among the lawyers community as the president of the PML Lawyers Forum.

They prayed that may Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

PML (like minded) president Mian Azhar has also expressed his grief over the death of Chaudhry Farooq. He said the late was a sincere person and a celebrated lawyer.

Party’s Lahore chief Chaudhry Akhtar Rasool, Mehnaz Rafi, Mian Meraj Din, Mian Abdul Waheed, and Mian Munir have also condoled with the bereaved family.
