LAHORE, Dec 6: Akhtar Abdur Rahman Club and Publican Club also entered the semi-final of the Lahore Ramazan-ul-Mubarak football tournament at the DPS ground on Thursday.

A match-winner by Ashraf helped Akhtar Abdur Rahman Club to beat Amin Club 1-0 at the DPS ground on Thursday.

Ashraf scored the solitary goal of the match in the 16th minute. Both the teams raided each other goalposts but failed to score any goal in the remaining time.

Three goals by Niaz helped Publican Club to also enter the pre-final after thrashing Mujahid Club 5-1 in another match of the day.

Niaz scored first two goals of the Publican Club in the 2nd and 11th minute. He struck his third goal in the 48th minute. Babar (24th minute) and Imran (28th minute) added one goal for the winners.

For the losers, Shakeel reduced the margin by scoring the consolation goal in the 50th minute.
