KARACHI, Dec 6: A blistering 69 by Rehan Malik studded with seven boundaries and one six, could not see his team through to victory when Karachi Club went down by six wickets to Baqai Dolphin CC in the Lgflatron Cup at the National Bank Sports Complex.

Karachi Club hit up 136 for six in their 25 allotted overs with Rehan engaged in a lone battle. Motashim Rasheed took two for 18.

Waseem Feroz (47) and Tariq Rasheed (40), in fine fettle with the willow, Baqai Dolphins reached the target in 22.1 overs scoring 140 for four. Waseem hit five fours and one six.

In a match played earlier, Delhi City Gymkhana beat Haseeb Habib & Co. by a huge margin of 72 runs.

Batting first, Delhi City Gymkhana collected 147 for seven in their stipulated 25 overs with Saif Ashraf (39), Azam Khan (33) and Shahid Rauf (30 n.o.), being the principal scorers. Abdullah claimed two for four in his two over spell.

Haseeb Habib in reply were skittled out for only 75 runs with Mothashim Ali (3-29) and Rafay Saeed (2-22), doing the initial damage.
