KARACHI, Dec 6: Abdul Sattar Edhi has established an Edhi Home in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

The bungalow, measuring 1,000 square yards, which Maulana Edhi has bought, is situated on the main Jalalabad highway.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the bungalow has 18 rooms where destitute women and children would be provided shelter.

Under the directives of Maulana Edhi, extension work of the bungalow would begin soon to accommodate more than 1,000 women and children.

Seven injured people from the Torkham border and 13 others from the Chaman border have been shifted to Chaman Civil Hospital by Edhi ambulances. These people were injured in bombardment at Spin Boldak in Afghanistan.—PPI
