ISLAMABAD, Dec 3: Pak China began the Ramzan Sports Festival cricket tournament with a 71-run victory over Gold Star at the Muslim High School Ground.
Batting first, Pak China collected 181 for seven in the stipulated overs in which Nadeem Hussain struck a fine 41. Gulfraz and Waqar Ahmed claimed two wickets each for Gold Star.
Nadeem then set up victory for Pak China with a five-wicket haul for which he conceded only eight runs as Gold Star were dismissed for 110. Khurrum, who captured two wickets was also very economical and conceded just three runs.
The tournament is organised Rawalpindi Cricket Association.
