Electric wire taken away

KASUR, Nov 27: Robbers on Tuesday took away cash, gold ornaments and electricity wires worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in different parts of the district.

Thieves reportedly cut Wapda wires worth Rs120,024 and Rs19,500 from Sarihali Kalan and Sahankey village, respectively.

Meanwhile, three armed people, including Jamila, took away cash and jewellery worth Rs30,000 from Muhammad Ashraf’s house in Nirmalkey village.

Five robbers burst into Muhammad Ramzan’s shop in Bhadian bazaar, Pattoky, and took away cash and cloth worth Rs38,500. Police have registered separate cases.

KIDNAPPED: Four outlaws, including Rao Abdul Qayuum, kidnapped one Muhammad Tufail and tortured him in illegal confinement.

Meanwhile, one Qasim Awan kidnapped a girl from her house and raped her.

Police have registered a case.
