Cash, gold looted

DADU, Nov 23: Five armed men barged into the house of Amb Palh in village Sathi Palh in taluka Mehar late on Wednesday night. They looted cash, gold and took away five head of cattle. When Amb Palh and two women put up resistance to the accused, they beat them up.

Bhando Mari police, on the complaint of Amb Palh, registered an FIR against Deedar Janwari, Shah Muhammad Machhi and three unidentified men.

CRUSHED: Ms Pathani, 45, was crushed to death under the wheels of a tractor on Friday when she was crossing Bhan Saeedabad-Sehwan road near Bhan Saeedabad town. The driver of the tractor, Murtaza Shaikh, made good his escape. Bhan Saeedabad police have lodged an FIR against the driver and impounded the tractor.

HIJACKED: Five armed men snatched a CD-70 motorcycle (No. 9990) from Abdul Aziz Pirzado and also beat him up when he offered resistance.
