KARACHI: Govt’s reform programmes appreciated


KARACHI, Nov 18: The World Bank vice-president has expressed the hope that Sindh government would be able to work for the welfare of the common man in the province with a team work.

Mieko Nishimizu was speaking at a dinner hosted by Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro in honour of the visiting World Bank mission here on Saturday night.

Ms Nishimizu described the Sindh economic reform programmes a basic start for a better social change in the province.

She said that the people of Sindh must have an awareness and understanding for the success of the programmes and their cooperation at every level will have to be obtained.—APP
