SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 17: A spare-parts dealer was deprived of cash and other valuables and his colleague was severely injured on resistance by four dacoits near Khanqah Dogran on Saturday.

Mushtaq Ahmad was coming back to Sheikhupura after distributing spare-parts in Khanqah Dogran and Safdarabad.

They were intercepted by dacoits near Qila Mir Zaman riding on two motorcycle. They snatched Rs100,000 in cash, wrist watch and other valuables. They beat up his friend Zaheer when he put up resistance.

In an other incident, two medical representatives were looted by three highway robbers near Shish Mahal cinema on the Gujrnawala Road on Saturday.

Ahmad Ali and Tauseef were on their way to a nearby market. Meanwhile, three car riders intercepted them and deprived them of Rs9,000 in cash and other valuables.

Sadar police are investigating.

ACCIDENT: Two brothers sustained critical injuries when a speeding bus hit their motorcycle near Thalal Morr on the Jaranwala Road on Saturday.

Zaheer and Tanvir were going to Mandi Faizabad on a motorcycle. They were crushed by a bus coming from behind. They were shifted to the Mayo Hospital, Lahore, in precarious condition.

The bus driver managed to escape from the scene.
