British journalist expelled

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11: British journalist Christina Lamb was expelled from Pakistan on Saturday for being involved in undesirable activities, authorities said.

They said Ms Lamb reached Islamabad airport along with photographer Justin Hallivet late on Friday after being expelled from Quetta.

However, upon reaching Islamabad airport lounge Ms Lamb staged a drama, the authorities said, and added that she tore off her trousers to protest against her expulsion.

Later, Christina Lamb was put on a wheel-chair by the security staff and driven to the plane where she was handed over to the PIA security staff.

She was allocated seat number 10-E at the upper deck of London-bound Pk-785 which took off on Saturday at about 11am, a source said.
