PESHAWAR: Ex-minister’s action criticized

PESHAWAR, Nov 10: Criticizing the former federal minister, J. Salik, for his recent act of encaging himself, the Christian Youth Welfare Organizations said on Friday that the former should not stage such dramas for getting cheap popularity among the people.

In a press release issued here on Friday, president of the organization, Pervaiz Sadiq said that J. Salik was known for staging cheap dramas like wearing jute clothes, putting his household items to torch, wearing khaki uniform, leaving his shoes in the National Assembly and becoming a labourer.

He added that Mr Salik had remained a federal minister and he should not indulge in such degrading acts.
