QUETTA, Nov 3: The leaders of the different religious parties speaking at an anti-US protest rally here on Friday announced that if the military rulers did not change their pro-American policy they would launch army disobedience movement in the country.

The workers and supporters of the various religious parties marched on different roads of the city and gathered at Ayub Stadium after Jumma prayers chanting anti-US and anti-government slogans. Dr Israr Ahmed of Tanzeem Islami, former Senator Hafiz Hussian Ahmed and many other speakers addressed the protesters.

They strongly criticized the government for siding with the United States government and extending help and cooperation for attacking Afghanistan in which hundreds of innocent people including women and children were killed.

The speakers said that if the government doesn’t review its policy towards Taliban the religious parties of the country would launch a joint disobedience movement against the military government, which was not ready to honour the stand of their people who were fully supporting the Taliban and Islamic government in Afghanistan.

They said that America and allied forces were only using air Force against Afghanistan but the Taliban were waiting for landing of their land forces. They said that the US army would face heavy casualties in case of land attack on Afghanistan.

The leaders urged upon the people to get united for the protection of Islam as all the anti-Islamic forces have been gathered against Islam who wanted to eliminate Islam.

They said that United States and its allies have imposed a war against innocent people of Afghanistan. “We are not afraid of war imposed by US government. We are ready to take part in the holy war against anti-Islamic forces,” they announced.

They vowed that when ever Mulla Omer gives a call, thousands of JUI and other parties workers would join hand with Taliban.
