New courses for Kohat varsity

PESHAWAR, Oct 27: All arrangements are being completed to start classes in four disciplines in the University of Science and Technology Kohat.

Over 130 students had already been admitted to the first semester of BCS, BIT, BBIT and BSc (Honours) four-year programmes. The process of admissions to other disciplines would also be started soon.

This the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof Dr Shir Ali Khan Shinwari informed to the NWFP Minister for Education Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani and District Nazim Malik Mohammad Asad during their visit to the campus.

The repair and restructuring work as well as work on the provision of basic amenities was going apace. The minister and Nazim were taken round the campus to show them the repair work.
