KARACHI, Oct 27: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, will send six more of its faculty members to pursue PhD degrees in the United States next year, IBA director Prof Javed Ashraf said on Saturday.

He said those selected would get full financial assistance from the American universities for pursuing the courses.

This year, he said, the IBA Karachi had already sent six faculty members for the PhD degrees.

The move, he said, is part of the programme of developing highly qualified faculty for the Institute.

The IBA also initiated its own PhD programme two years ago and is expected to be producing at least 12 PhDs by the year 2003.—APP
