PESHAWAR, Oct 24: Peshawar Corps Commander Lt-Gen Ali Mohammad Jan has said that Pakistan Army will extend full support for the success of the new system of district governments.

Speaking at a meeting of Nazims, Naib Nazims and heads of departments at Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday, he said the grievances of the people would be forwarded to the government for consideration.

The meeting was also attended by Kohat GOC, Maj-Gen Saeed Ahmed Khan, Brig Sultan Khalid Mahmood, South Waziristan Scouts Commandant Col Mohammad Saeed, D.I. Khan District Nazim Latifullah Khan Alizai, Tank District Nazim Nawabzada Binyameen Khan and D.I. Khan District Coordination Officer Amjad Nazir.

Earlier, at the brigade headquarters, the brigade commander briefed the corps commander.—APP
