Nazims’ work to be monitored

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 21: District Nazim, Abbottabad, Mustafa Jadoon has said that a vigilance committee would be formed to monitor the working of district Nazim and Naib Nazim.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a primary school at Narella Havelian, Mustafa Jadoon said the committee would consist of honest and notable citizens whose appointment would be endorsed from the district assembly to give it a legal cover.

He said that corrupt government employees would not be tolerated and stern action would be taken against them. He said that orders had been issued to the education department to fill the vacant seats in schools and colleges immediately.

Speaking on the occasion, Naib Nazim Javed Abbasi said that all those government contractors whose work found substandard would be blacklisted and would be awarded exemplary punishment.

He said that arrangements were being made to hold the first session of the district assembly on October 27, at the provincial assembly building.
