KARACHI: Action urged against faulty rickshaws

KARACHI, Oct 19: Despite clear-cut instructions of the Sindh Ombudsman, the city police are yet to take measures ensuring installation of silencers in rickshaws plying in Karachi.

The Karachiites, already exposed to all sorts of pollution ranging right from air, water to noise besides contaminated food items, are perhaps quite a severe victim of the three- wheelers.

The people have urged the concerned authorities and the Sindh Ombudsman to take notice of the situation and help bring an end to their miseries.—APP
