Projects approved

MUZAFFARABAD, Oct 18: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Development Working Party here on Wednesday approved uplift schemes worth Rs281.6 million in LG&RD, health, education, transport, communication, planning and development, and housing and physical planning sectors. The meeting was presided over by Additional Chief Secretary Sardar Abdur Rashid Khan.

In the LG&RD sector, the meeting sanctioned Rs36.9m for rural water supply schemes and in the health sector, Rs32.9m were approved for extension of Kotli district headquarters hospital, and Rs2.3m for the Northern Health Project. In the education sector, Rs44.3m were approved for 11 high schools for boys and 11 for girls in Bagh district, Rs6.7m for hostel in the Pallandari girls degree college and Rs11.3m for establishment of high schools for refugees in Solan camp.
