MINGORA, Oct 1: The amir of Tehrik Nifaz Shariat-i-Muhammadi Malakand division, Maulana Sufi Mohammad, has asked his followers to prepare themselves for Jihad if Afgha-nistan is attacked.

Talking to newsmen at his residence in Dir, he said lending support to the attackers would lead the country to many problems.

Sufi claimed that thousands of his workers were ready to leave for Afghanistan to accompany the Taliban in case of a possible American attack.

He said in the absence of a proof of Osama’s involvement in terrorist acts attack on Afgha-nistan would be immoral and illegal.

CALL FOR UNITY: The principal of Government Postgraduate Jehanzeb College, Swat, Prof Sarzamin Khan has asked the students to follow the principles of unity, discipline and faith and prepare themselves for the future responsibilities.

Speaking at a function held in the college’s Wadoodia Hall in connection with the Solidarity Day, he urged the students to dedicate themselves for serving the nation.

Prof Akbar Khan, Prof Karimullah, Prof Fazal Wahab and Prof Behram Zakhmi also spoke on the occasion.

The speakers hailed the role of the government in this critical time.

They asked the students to be ensure unity so that the designs of vested interests be defeated.

They also condemned terrorist attacks in America and expressed their sympathies with the sufferers.
