Two gangs busted, valuables worth millions recovered

ISLAMABAD Criminal Investigation Agency Islamabad Police on Wednesday claimed to bust two gangs comprising five persons and recover stolen items worth million of rupees.
Addressing a press conference at CIA headquarters, SSP Islamabad Ahmed Latif said the criminals were involved in looting people at gun point and also confessed to barging into ten houses.
The police also recovered 14 mobile phones, gold ornaments, wrist watches, weapons and vehicle used for dacoity purposes.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Qalb-e-Abbas and SSP Ahmed Latif assigned the task to SP Investigation Sajid Kiyani and SP Nasir Aftab to control dacoity and other criminal activities.
The police teams supervised by In-charge CIA Bashir Noon arrested two gangsters and recovered a car MR-567 with ten fake number plates, one lap top computer, one iron, one blanket, 12 mobile phones, 15 gold bangles, gold jewellery and weapons from them.
The nabbed criminals were identified as Rafique alias Ejaz Shakoor resident of Achra Lahore and Imran Qadeer alias Khurram Niazami resident of Harbans Pura Lahore.
Their three other accomplices are still at large and their names were told to be Tanveer alias Pappi residents of Multan Road Samanabad Lahore, Usman Ghani alias Riaz resident of Multan and Ashraf alias Achu resident of Lahore.
