QUETTA, Dec 24 The government of Balochistan decided on Thursday to appoint district coordination officers as administrators of district governments to replace nazims on completion of local governments' term on Dec 31.

According to a decision taken by the cabinet, tehsil municipal officers in district headquarters will be appointed executive district officers (revenue) in grade 17.

The cabinet also decided to allocate a three per cent quota for minorities in jobs in provincial departments. —Staff Correspondent
