ISLAMABAD A Saudi al Qaeda operative suspected of involvement in London 7/7 attacks was arrested in northwestern Pakistan on Wednesday, intelligence officials told Reuters.

They identified the man only as Taifi and said he came from the Saudi city of Taif.

'Taifi is among those arrested today,' an intelligence official said on condition of anonymity.
