LAHORE, March 23: Punjab University and Peshawar University entered the final of the Inter-varsity hockey championship at the Punjab University Old Campus ground on Sunday.

Punjab University defeated Mehran Engineering University 1-0 in the first semifinal. The solitary goal of the match was scored by Hamza in the first half of play.

Peshawar University beat Karachi University 2-0 in the second semifinal. Zahid Ali scored both goals for the winners.
