Rs2.5m reward for Naval Complex blast clues
ISLAMABAD, Dec 4 The capital police issued on Friday the sketch of the suicide bomber who struck the Naval Complex and announced Rs2.5 million reward for any clues.
Two navy guards were killed and 14 other people were injured when the attacker blew himself up at the main gates of the complex in Sector E-8 Wednesday afternoon.
A handout issued by the Islamabad police said the teenage terrorist had a fair complexion, was short in height and apparently did not know how to speak Urdu. His physical features were convincing enough for the police to believe that he hailed from the Gilgit-Baltistan or nearby north-western region.
The police said identification of the bomber would help them to trace the terrorists.
“The person who will provide information will be given an award of Rs2.5 million,” the handout said.
Any information could be forwarded to the deputy inspector general of police (0300-5005011), senior superintendent of po
lice (0300-5000577), Rescue 15 (051-15) to police control (051-9203333).
The handout said name of the person providing information about the terrorists would be kept secret.
