Capital city: the logic
WHEN Ayub Khan shifted the country's capital from Karachi to Islamabad, he gave a reason for this act The country could be better defended from somewhere in the north. A 50-year history of Pakistan, since the capital was shifted to Islamabad, has proved this to be totally wrong.
Now that the theatre of war and the site of battles have found their place on the western border of the country, I suggest that the capital city of Pakistan be shifted to somewhere in Waziristan, near Wana, for better performance of the government in the matter of defence.
