Protest lodged with India

ISLAMABAD, March 28 Pakistan lodged a strong protest with India on Sunday over violation of ceasefire along the working boundary that had taken place near Sialkot on Saturday night.

A flag meeting of Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) was held along the Sialkot working boundary on Pakistan's demand. Pakistan protested against indiscriminate and unprovoked firing close to the working boundary.

According to the ISPR, Pakistani security forces rejected BSF's allegation that some individual was attempting to cross the boundary from Pakistan.

The BSF was told that sound of firing was heard inside India close to the working boundary, whereas there was no movement from the Pakistan side.
